There's A Petition To Bring Back Galaxy Truffles To Celebrations In Time For Christmas

It was a sad day when Mars decided to remove Galaxy Truffles from Celebrations boxes and replace them with Twixes. I mean, Twixes?! That's like taking away our Mercedes and telling us to just get the bus.

There's A Petition To Bring Back Galaxy Truffles To Celebrations In Time For Christmas

Frankly, it was a complete joke - one that people clearly still aren't over, years later. In fact, someone feels so shortchanged to this day that they've actually set up an online petition to bring them back. Not all heroes wear capes, eh?

Calling on the public to help the us reach justice, the petition description reads: "This petition has been made so people are aware that the Galaxy Truffle was taken away from the Celebrations chocolates.

"Apparently, they were taken away due to them being too expensive for production and so were replaced with the Twix.

"Let's get the Truffle back and let the company know that we don't want something that was so popular to be replaced with something so

The petition currently has 24 signatures of the 10,000 goal, but we've got every faith that you can rally to make this dream a reality - especially as Christmas rolls around, when we'll spend most days sat around the TV with a big box of chocolates on the go.

Commenting on the page, one person said they were 'furious still'.

Another wrote: "They need to be brought back ASAP."

Someone else added: "The truffle was my fav! Even if they decided to sell them separately Id be happy!!"

Celebrations boxes currently contain Maltesers Teasers, Mars Bars, Bounties, Milky Ways, Snickers, Galaxies, Galaxy Caramels and Twixes - the latter of which replaced the almighty Galaxy Truffle back in 2011.

Oh, there used to be Topics in there, too. But no one misses them.

C'mon internet. Now's the time more than ever to get that hustle on. Your box of Celebrations needs you for this Christmas miracle.
