Netflix Unveils Documentary Series About Dogs And It Looks Amazing

Everyone loves dogs - and if they don't, they definitely should. So Netflix know exactly what they're doing releasing a docuseries about dogs, or a 'dogumentary' if you will, tugging at our heartstrings in all the right spots.

Netflix Unveils Documentary Series About Dogs And It Looks Amazing

The new series Dogs is every pooch-lover's dream and if the trailer is anything to go by, it's going to be amazing.

I'm not crying, you are.

Dogs will follow six stories about six furry heroes and their human counterparts, celebrating 'the deep emotional bonds between people and their beloved four-legged friends' from countries including Syria, Japan, Costa Rica, Italy and the United States.

In the series you'll see a woman with a true passion for pet grooming and even the guaranteed-to-be-heartbreaking tale of a man who is thousands of miles away from his beloved husky who's missing him in Syria.

It intends to highlight not only how we take care and love our fur babies, but also how man's best friend's can take care of us - basically you'll definitely need a box (or two) of tissues to make it through each episode.

The show doesn't hold back either, even from the get-go - the first episode is sure to be a tear-jerker as it follows the story of an 11-year-old girl who suffers from traumatic seizures and her certified therapy dog, Rory.

They dig even deeper looking into separation and dedication in the second episode is the tale of Ayham and Zeus. Ayham was forced to flee war-torn Syria, but he's prepared to risk everything to bring his furry companion accross the border and home safe in his arms - where every doggo deserves to be.

Even with all the emotional moments on the upside we are, obviously, guaranteed to see lots of adorable dogs - who love us unconditionally and, as said in the trailer, often complete our families.

One of the shows directors, Glenn Zipper, told Variety in an interview: "Dogs don't just make us feel loved, dogs make us feel safe. In the world we live in today, no matter how divided we are, we should take care to realize how much dogs mean to all of us, and how our bond with them can help bring us together."

Dogs is set to not only make us cry, but surely highlight the fact we all surely know: dogs are the friends we don't deserve - as one woman says in the trailer: "I can't imagine my life without dogs." neither can I.
